We’re thrilled to announce that earlier this year, Orange Romania chose CROSS Network Intelligence (CNI) to be their network’s new system of record.

The project was secured and will be implemented through CNI’s key Value-Added Reseller (VAR), Realworld Eastern Europe, whose team possesses deep industry and technical expertise, particularly in the area of GIS integration, and has collaborated closely with both CNI and Orange Romania for many years.

“The consolidation of the OSS stack represents a big challenge for all CSPs. With a relationship dating over 20 years, Realworld Eastern Europe is both a strategic system integrator and a trusted technology adviser for Orange Romania. Choosing CROSS NI as the main OSS integration tool for their consolidation project was the natural suggestion, considering the size and complexity of the Tier 1 Telco Operator's infrastructure.”, stated Bogdan Hebean, Managing Director of Realworld Eastern Europe.

With its unique ability to consolidate and contextualize assets from a variety of data sources and network layers (especially physical and logical), CROSS will support Orange Romania in building a single coherent model of their network. This dynamic data model, combined with valuable tools and network insights, will further support their transformational objectives, such as optimizing operations, accommodating new customers, and realizing impactful OPEX savings. It will also help to easily identify customers affected by a potential outage and highlight areas of potential risk in the network, hence improving network resilience.

The project kicked off earlier this year and will enable Orange Romania to integrate CROSS Inventory into the wider OSS/BSS environment, unify their infrastructure to support business continuity, and more importantly, accommodate its continuously improving infrastructure, with the ultimate goal of achieving zero-touch automation.
